My solar system and AGM batteries were purchased through and installed by AM Solar in Springfield, Oregon on October 1, 2013. This is their SunRunner Signature 100/25/6/PRO System.
The 4 panels are GS100 Mono Crystalline cell panels.
The specs:
PMax (Wattage) = 100 watts
Voc (Volts@Open Circuit) = 21.2
Vpm (Volts@Maximum Power) = 17.7 volts
Isc (Amps@Short Circuit) = 6.10 amps
Ipm (Amps@Maximum Power) = 5.70 amps
Length = 40.8" (1037 mm)
Width = 20.7" (527 mm)
Depth = 1.38" (35 mm)
Weight = 14.5 lbs
The charge controller is a Blue Sky Solar Boost 2512iX-HV with MPPT.
This is a 25 amp, 3 stage charge controller.
Also installed is a Blue Sky IPN-ProRemote for remote monitoring.
The 2 batteries are Lifeline GPL-6CT
6 Volt nominal battery with 300 amp-hour capacity @ 20hr. rate
Length = 10.28"
Width = 7.06"
Height = 13.02"
Weight = 93 lbs.
No holes were put in the roof. Everything is put down with tape that has an 80 lb per square inch strength. Which means it would take 800 lbs of pressure to pull off a panel. Tape is protected by Dicor Sealant to protect from weather, sun or pollutants. Panels can be tilted.
Roof combiner box is an AM Solar exclusive design that gives each solar panel its own output cable, thereby reducing unnecessary voltage drop associated with parallel panel wiring. It is made of UV resistant plastic, has a rubber gasket inside the lid, and utilizes weather-tight fittings to protect against moisture reaching the electrical connections inside.
